The sporty windshield with tear-off edges was developed back in 1988 to reduce air resistance in a crouched seating position. In measurements by Motorrad magazine, for example, a KAWASAKI ZZR 1100 was measured to have a top speed 5 km/h higher.
In 1992, the development continued and made it possible to produce panes with a tear-off edge in such a way that no distortion occurs.
In 1994, MRA was the first manufacturer to introduce racing screens (double bubble). In the following years, well-known riders won GP victories and world championships on GP machines with MRA racing screens.
MRA is proud of the fact that many manufacturers and racing teams worldwide rely on MRA products because only top technology is used in racing.
But the MRA engineers also demonstrate their skills and creativity for touring riders. The most recent example is the X-CREEN series. No spoiler windshield has ever been more versatile and individual. The small spoiler can be adjusted in height, angle and distance to the windshield, turning the windshield into an all-rounder.
